Land’s End Cabo San Lucas

El Arco de Cabo San Lucas or Land’s End is one of the most famous if not the most famous landmark in this popular destination. It is a distinctive granite rock formation located at the south end of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula. It is said that pirates used to go in El Arco de Cabo San Lucas to wait for merchant ships heading to the west coast. Most tourists in Cabo San Lucas will not leave the place without having their pictures taken in front of The Arch. But remember that climbing of the famous arch is prohibited by law. Small boats from Cabo San Lucas Marina or from Playa El Medano make regular trips to El Arco at very reasonable prices. Visitors of El Arco usually also visits Lovers’s Beach or Playa del Amor, a very photogenic beach located on the Sea of Cortez side of Land’s End Cabo San Lucas.
